Welcome to Bethesda,

Bethesda Christian Fellowship first began in the fall of 1949 and is celebrating over sixty years of ministry outreach to Madison and the surrounding communities. In the Bible, Bethesda was the name of a unique pool in Jerusalem where Jesus met and healed a man who had been lame for thirty-eight years (John 5). In the Hebrew language Bethesda literally means: House of Grace or Mercy.

Our desire as a church is to model the very meaning of our name. We believe that Jesus still heals broken lives because many of our lives have been genuinely touched by Him. Our prayer is that you feel refreshed during your visit at BCF and that you will join us again soon to experience Bethesda... a place of healing and hope, flowing in the richness of God’s grace (Ephesians 2:8).
