BAND OF BROTHERS is a
ministry that acknowledges that God has created
in man a wild heart and that our
purpose is to discover how we can direct this
God given energy to become better sons,
brothers, husbands, fathers and grandfathers.
Nowhere in the Bible does it say that men have
to abandon their dreams or abolish their
masculinity in order to serve God. However, in
churches today many men are either missing in
action or have become disconnected or
discouraged. We believe God has a wonderful plan
for His sons. Join us as we embark on an
adventurous journey of discovering who we are as
men in Christ. The men's ministry meets

fellowship through Life Groups, breakfasts,

The New, Amazing, Magnetic, SUPER SUPERKIDZ
BIBLE ADVENTURELAND! It's an adventure in
children’s ministry, where kids can experience
the Word of God in an exciting, hands-on way.
There will be upbeat kids’ worship, skits, games
and more! Parents can drop your kids off at
AdventureLand, (the Gym) for 2nd service 10:15
a.m.
AWANA KIDS CLUB is an exciting weekly
children's club that meets Wednesday evenings
September through May at 6:30 p.m. for
kindergarten age through sixth grade.

offers nursery care for your children
ages newborn through 3 years old during our
weekly services. Our staff and team have been
trained to provide excellent care in a safe
environment so you can enjoy our services. Our
recent church addition (2002) has provided a
comfortable, warm, and pleasant state of the art
nursery facility. There is always room for
volunteers in this growing ministry.

helps to fill an important role in our
public services. Whether you are a first time
visitor or regular attendee, you are welcomed

Questions are answered, directions are given,
and important information is distributed weekly
through this team of committed servants. It has
been said that the visitor will have decided on
whether or not to return to a church long before
he or she has heard the pastor preach. Our first
contact is very important in allowing our
friends and neighbors to feel comfortable when

MISSIONS MINISTRY is a ministry
that desires to see the supremacy of God

MUSIC - VERTICAL PRAISE is
the music ministry that leads our congregation
in songs of praise each Sunday. With their
hearts and hands lifted up and songs of
celebration & adoration extended heavenward,
vertical is an apt description of Bethesda's
praise and worship team led by Sondra Wood.
Sondra believes that our praise & worship
ministry at Bethesda is dedicated to providing

PRAYER MINISTRY is at the
very heart of all our ministries here at
Bethesda. Someone has said that it is through
prayer that we couple the powers of heaven with
our helplessness. Each Sunday morning at 9:00
a.m. the Upper Room prayer group meets
to intercede for the many needs within our
congregation. In addition, the Bethesda Prayer
Chain is a 24-hour prayer ministry for any
special prayer needs. Requests may be sent to
prayer@bethesda1.com or placed in the boxes
located in the Worship Center (sanctuary).
WOMEN OF EXCELLENCE is a
ministry that provides a time for women to come
together and be strengthened in God's Word while
building long lasting relationships in the
process. Our purpose is to promote a spirit of
fellowship and fun, while lightening each
other's loads. We also strive to be a service in
our church and community and to be a witness for
Christ. Various activities we enjoy are weekly
Bible studies, annual retreats, simulcasts and
monthly meetings.

that these years are the worst of times. But we
believe that with the right tools, these years

and retreats, special events, and plenty of
food, are just a few of the tools that we use to
